About HRCMC

It takes a real “people person” to effectively teach human resources strategy and understand the value of human capital assets.  HRCMC Founder/Owner Christina Kamer, Ed.D., is more than an educator – she’s a proven business leader with practical experience working with boards of directors, officers, senior leadership, unionized and non-union workforces in both the private and public sectors.

Since launching her career over 30 years ago as a manager of employee and communication relations, she has honed her HR skills rising through the executive ranks of such notable companies as Kable News Company, The Dial Corporation, Avery-Dennison, Butler Manufacturing Company and Allis-Chalmers Corporation.

Dr. Kamer holds a B. A. in Business Administration and Management from Webster University, a M.S. in Adult Continuing Education with emphasis on Human Resources Development and a Doctor of Education in Adult Education from Northern Illinois University.  A true believer in the importance of lifelong learning, she shares her knowledge serving as Adjunct Faculty at Cardinal Stritch University.  Pursuit of her interest in continuing education has taken her to Finland, Russia, Estonia, and The Netherlands to study abroad. Dr. Kamer also holds certification as a Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) by the HR Certification Institute, the credentialing body for human resource professionals for the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).

Giving back to the community through service she is a member of the Rockford Chamber of Commerce, American Association of University Women (AAUW), Northern Illinois University and Webster University Alumni Associations, Rockford Network of Professional Women, National, Rockford and Blackhawk Society of Human Resource Management.
